German heavy metal pioneers Accept have officially announced a monumental 30th Anniversary Show, set to honor their decades-spanning legacy and influence within the global metal community. Known for their blistering riffs, anthemic choruses, and iconic stage presence, Accept’s celebration promises to be more than just a concert—it will be a historic gathering of generations of metalheads united by the band’s timeless sound.
The band, originally formed in the late 1970s, reached international acclaim in the 1980s with classic albums like Restless and Wild (1982), Balls to the Wall (1983), and Metal Heart (1985). Their unique blend of traditional heavy metal and European power metal helped define the genre, influencing countless bands that followed.
The upcoming anniversary show is set to take place in Staten lsland New York City 21st July this year, and will feature a career-spanning setlist that includes fan favorites, deep cuts, and possibly some rare live performances of lesser-known tracks. In a statement released by the band, founding guitarist Wolf Hoffmann expressed excitement for the milestone:
