Kyle Rowe signs Glasgow Warriors contract extension
Kyle Rowe has committed his future to Glasgow Warriors by signing a new two-year contract extension, keeping him at the club until at least the summer of 2027. Since returning north from London Irish in mid-2023, the 27-year-old back-three player has become an integral part of the squad, crossing the try line 16 times in 35 appearances for the Scotstoun side.
A product of Queen Victoria School in Falkirk, Rowe also represented Glasgow Hawks, Ayr, and Scotland at U20 level before breaking into the senior national team. He has earned 12 caps for Scotland so far, scoring three tries since making his international debut against Argentina in 2022.
Speaking about the extension, Rowe said he was thrilled to finalise the deal. “I’m absolutely buzzing to get everything sorted,” he said. “It was a really simple decision for me, especially after what happened with London Irish a couple of years ago. I’ve really enjoyed my time here — I love being part of this team and the environment we’ve created, so it just made sense to stay.”
Rowe expressed his excitement about staying with the Warriors, highlighting how the team’s style of play complements his strengths. “The way we play really fits my game, and I love wearing this jersey,” he said. “There’s a great sense of drive within the squad — everyone pushes each other to be better, and we’ll carry that energy into Friday night’s quarter-final.”
